The most majestic administrative capital
The city name Putrajaya can be translated  “Prince of excellence”, as “Putra” means prince and “Jaya” means excellent or success in Malay. And the name is no exaggeration, the city could even be named “King of excellence” because this is in many ways the most majestic administrative capital even from a global point of view.

Putrajaya is named after the first Malaysian Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra.
